I live near Portland, OR. This food is so good, it is worth the 500 mile drive just for the the hot sour soup. The polite and friendly waitress said that "The Old Man" made my soup. Hot sour soup is made fresh for each order. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often. Come and visit Alturas, CA. and have some Chinese food.

Fast service friendly staff good food

Start with the good: good prices and generous portions. Of what we ordered the chow mein and quality of vegetables were the highlight. On the not so good side: Szechuan style that is sweet and not spicy?! That should not happen, ever. And the hot and sour soup was not ... hot ... or sour. Additionally the service staff seemed rather disinterested.

Love the food it's worth the travel time to get good food.

One of the best places to eat in modoc

The service was great they were very friendly. The food was a little over priced but fresh, good and fast. I called in a order 10 minutes before close and they still made time for me. The outside of the building throws you off but the inside is very spacious. A good place to get take-out but the service isn't as good dine-in. 5 stars!!!

Didn't go here for a long time but sorry now as the food is the best we've had in a long time. The service is fast, friendly, and helpful. The prices are good too. I don’t eat salt so when I go out food taste salty most of the time but not here. The flavors were wonderful. The food came liked we ordered it. I give this place 5 stars and recommend it. It is very clean inside too.

The worst ever food had hair in it services sucks
